EV Productions was established in 1997, as a recording studio located just north of Chicago, in Evanston, IL. The studio specializes in audio recording for hip hop, rock, jazz, electronic, & vocal recording. We have recorded artists from all over the U.S. including, KRS 1, Dave of De La Soul, Royce the 5' 9', Masta Ace, Aesop Rock, Vakill, Vast Aire, Diverse, Psalm One, Illogic, Longshot, Thaione Davis, Ted Sirota, Edo G., Frequency Below, Treologic, Lord 360, Freebasic, as well as labels like Chocolate Industries, Molemen, Rhymesayers, Birthwrite, & others!
This site is dedictaed to the music of EV. EV Records has released projects by Copperpot, Longshot, Modill, Single Minded Pros, & Illanotix, and also distributes the following labels: Birthwrite Entertainment, Low Life Records (in the U.S.), Cigol Records, & Stugee Entertainment.
