Mr. Black starts by updating the Eterna Shimmering Reverberator with 60 seconds of Decay and a whole new reverb algorithm which includes 4 octave processing. You'll immediately hear a fuller choir of voices and a fatter tone thanks to its revoicing of the midrange frequencies which help you cut through a live band mix. The unique Shimmer control actually feeds the octave signals into the reverb and lets you adjust just how much shimmer effect you want to hear. This gives you the ability to produce conventional modulated room and hall reverb or subtle octave settings. Other updates to the Eterna include a new haunting modulation type and the addition of early reflections for greater realism. Plus, when directly comparing the Eterna Gold Modified to other shimmer verbs, you'll notice a more immediate octave presence in the signal. This means you don't have to wait for a slow bloom to hear the effect at its fullest.
