I'd like to dedicate this piece to all those who have survived domestic abuse, and especially to those who have yet to learn that they can do so, too...

This is a contemporary Beat Poem set to a 1980s New Romantic/New Wave musical theme. Michael sent me the draft for this piece some thirty years ago and, sadly, the topic is as relevant today as it was back then.

Those of you listening to this work who think that physically/verbally/psychologically abusing those around you somehow empowers you should have a damned good look at yourselves and then, immediately, go get some help.

Domestic violence needs to stop NOW!
