أحنّ إلى خبز أمي

و قهوة أمي

و لمسة أمي

و تكبر في الطفولة

يوما على صدر يوم

I long for my mother's bread
My mother's coffee
And her touch.
Childhood memories grow in me
Day after day
And I love my life
Because if I die
I'd be ashamed of
My mother’s tears.
If I ever come back
Use me as wood
To feed your fire
As the clothesline on
The roof of your house.

Star maps of childhood
