Rhymesayers and Rose Presents bring you Soundset 08: the official Midwest kick-off festival of the summer with eight hours of the best independent Hip Hop music in one day.

Confirmed artists for Soundset 08 include: Atmosphere, Dilated Peoples, Aesop Rock w/ Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz, Little Brother, DJ Babu, Rhettmatic, J-Rocc of the World Famous Beat Junkies, Brother Ali, Eyedea & Abilities, P.O.S, Blueprint, Mac Lethal, Abstract Rude, I Self Devine, Musab, Psalm One, Grayskul and Los Nativos. On the official Fifth Element stage you'll see the best the Twin Cities has to offer bringing you that original Soundset vibe to the Metrodome parking. Confirmed on the Fifth Element stage will be: Doomtree, Muja Messiah, King Otto, Maria Isa, Kanser, DJ Stage One, Trama, Kill The Vultures, DJ MIke the 2600 King, M.anifest, Big Quarters, DJ J Love the Soundsmith, St. Paul Slim, Carnage, DJ Buck KAC, Illuminous 3 and The Usual Suspects.

With these added artists, that makes over 35 artists with nine hours of music, a custom car show and 3rd Lair's nationally recognized skate team! The team will be performing demos through out the day on the 3rd Lair mobile mini-ramp and street course.

After the Soundset Festival shuts down at the Metrodome, we're bringin' it back to the original Soundset days with the official after party at First Avenue. The party will feature DJ Z-Trip, Hip Hop Karaoke- YOUR chance to rhyme, Plain Ole Bill, DJ Nikoless and some VERY special surprise performances.
