Born and raised in L.A., Mike has played with some prominent bands and musicians during his music career! He has played on several recordings that have been released worldwide.
Songs that have topped the CCM and The Ground Floor radio charts are "Not the Same" (Frontline) by Mad at the World which hit 1 in November of '93 and "Seeds of Sorrow" (Intense) by Rose which hit 1 in December of '93!
Other songs that hit the Hard Rock and Metal charts top 20 were "Eyes of Heaven" (Frontline) hitting 3 by Mad at the World in March of '94, "Crazy Little World" (Intense) by Rose hitting 4 in April '94 and "Into the Unknown" (R.E.X.) by Rose hitting 20 in July of '95!
He has appeared in three music videos. The most recent video was "Built 2 Fail" (Century Media) by Paylface in '05 which was also featured on Century Media's 2006 CD music sampler as well as on Jagermeister music samplers. Another video was "Eyes of Heaven" (Frontline) by Mad at the World back in '94, done by the same production company that just finished wrapping up Dr Dre's first video! And the first video was "Death" by Rose back in '91, which was for a video compilation entitled 'Heavens Metal-Volume One'.
He has made appearances on several television shows. Such as, 'The 700 Club', 'The Leon Patillo Show', 'Real Videos' and 'Boise City Limits'. He has played with two major label bands, Rose (Intense) and Mad at the World (Frontline). And also has appeared in Bassplayer magazine, CCM magazine, HM magazine, Heavens Metal magazine, The Encyclopedia of Contemporary Christian Music, among others.
With the metal band Rose, he recorded five albums on Intense Records. With Alternative rock band Mad at the World, he played on their last three recordings on Frontline Records. He has recorded and toured with other notable bands and musicians, such as Lust Greeds Envy, Jagermeister band PAYLFACE, Factory Air, Oscar Ortega, House of Disciples, Gordon Knapp, Casey Corum, Brandon Dawson, Casey Bryant, Grand Prize, Stan Sinclair, The Wannabes, Abel's Cry and Watershed!
