DESCRIPTION:
Joining Michael Janisch on acoustic bass are Jason Palmer - Trumpet, Mike Moreno - Guitar and Johnathan Blake on Drums. Alban Low is an artist working and living in London.

I first heard Michael with Ralph Alessi, Jim Hart and Dave Smith as they rehearsed for their gig at Pizza Express, July, 2010.

Drawn at Kew Gardens. I wanted to emphasise the tension between two forces, sometimes on the same drawing between line and dots, spots and stripes, spikey and succulent. The Cacti were perfect for representing this message.

I will also turn the images into magnets and exhibit them this winter at the CUBE Gallery, Manchester.
