".beautifully-produced.A rare sort of treat to come out of Ireland. Superb." – Hot Press

David Lyttle began performing professionally at the age of four in his family folk group and has gone on to be described by premier Irish music magazine Hot Press as a 'veritable one-man industry'. A household name in Irish jazz, his groups have featured the global upper-echelon, including US giants Greg Osby and Jean Toussaint, while his new album 'Interlude' is earning him recognition outside of jazz as an urban producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Recently brought to millions by a Channel 4 album advert campaign with HMV, and championed by BBC Radio 1's Introducing and a range of media from specialist music magazines to the tabloids, it features David on keyboards, bass, drums, cello and vocals, revealing his strong personality as a songwriter whilst confirming the influence of producer heavyweights Q-Tip, Mark Ronson and Pharrell.
The collaborators include MOBO-winning/Mercury-nominated rapper Soweto Kinch, UK rapper/vocalist Homecut and Brooklyn rapper iLLspokinN (Run DMC, KRS One). Talent from Ireland such as rising star vocalist Rhea Lyttle, rapper Wile Man, guitarist Andreas Varady and his folk singer mother Anne Lyttle also appear. In addition, David enlists A-list session guests Jason Rebello (Sting), Pino Palladino (Adele, D'Angelo), Michael Buckley (Donovan), Keith Duffy (The Corrs, Ronan Keating) and Linley Hamily (Van Morrison).
