DESCRIPTION:
Most of our comrades and once-favorite bands from days gone by have grown up, moved on, and uprooted their original beliefs. This happens with such predictable regularity that it is now the norm. So to see Syracuse's defiant kings of Edge Til Death owning the stage at Montebello's 2014 edition of Amnesia Rockfest was both stirring and instigating. Scott Crouse and the brothers Edwards were shredding their tight strings but Dennis Merrick proved as always why he's essentially the Igor Cavalera of the underground...not to mention a drummer and man Cavalera has expressed deep respect for over the years. All the while, spokesperson and direct action activist Karl Buechner donned his signature windbreaker and unloaded his lungs of fury at the evening crowd.
