This was a HARD song to record because a) I was trying to get all members evenly, there for not getting next to the stage in front of only half the band b) I had to keep my pace in between the line dancers and the two steppers. I was doing ok, until I realized evrytime my focus went to the right, I was about to get a closeup of a two stepper in my lens (those were blind shots, total guesses, when you only see the band members from the waist down).

I was pissing off the line dancers big time but followed through til the end.

NEXT TIME: In order to record properly WITHOUT extras in the video, I'd need a pulpit smack, dab in the middle of the dance floor OR, a set up like PAUL KULAK has up in LA, doing his Live Webcasts for YEARS. Kulaks Woodshed uses inverted skateboards and camera's with booms/arms to make it all work.

The Starting Gate would make a GREAT Kulak's Woodshed!
