The Merchants of Moonshine: Six musicians from all over America (Texas, Ohio, Nebraska, Missouri, Michigan, Florida), with all kinds of musical backgrounds (blues, jazz, classical, rock, country, theatre) who met up in the “City of Angels” and decided to construct “their” version of a country band…3 alternating lead vocalists w/ 3-part vocal harmonies, memorable guitar melodies and solos, and a distinct, traditional, driving bass and drum groove… MoM performs tunes in the spirit and under the influence of all of country’s past greats while incorporating a sound that invites the modern listener… “REVITALIZED ROOTS COUNTRY WITH A KICK”
The “Moonshiner”: MoM’s ass-kickin’ friends! They can be found spending most weekends at MoM shows, BBQ’s, house/lake/beach/pool parties, or half-naked w/ a cowboy hat on, alone, on some porch somewhere with a beer and country classics playin’ in the background! They bust their asses all week long at work with that simple thought in mind! A little disgruntled with pop country…a little tired of their bosses…a little irritated with the world around ‘em, but damn happy to be alive and living, and damn proud to have the friends and family that they share this life with!!!
