I guess technically, we are an Atlanta based wedding / party band that plays a wide variety of Blues, Soul, R&B, Funk, Oldies & Classic Rock.
MEN IN BLUES was established in 2000, and quickly became a force on the Atlanta music scene.
MEN IN BLUES has been entertaining around the Atlanta area for over 10 years now!.1000+ gigs later and going strong!!
But really, all we want to do is make great music and have a blast!! When you see and hear us play, you'll know I'm telling the truth!!!
Once upon a timewe were featured on both Z 93 Radio (now Dave FM, 92.9), WRFG (Radio Free Georgia, 89.3 FM). We also play @ " Taste of Marietta" 2003 - 20011
MEN IN BLUES also plays annually @ the City of Roswell's " Alive after 5 " concert series in Historic Roswell, GA and various functions for the City of Alpharetta, GA.
This group of professional musicians has over 100+ years of combined performance experience. Members of this group have played with The Tams, Jimi Hendrix (no lie!!), Bertie Higgins, Gregg Allman, Little Richard, James Brown, Otis Redding, and Sam & Dave, The Platters, The Drifters, and Arthur Conley, Boxcar Willie, John Anderson, Roy Head, Freddie Fender, Darrell McCall, Tommy Jennings, T.G.
