Born on November 18, 1962. Start playing guitar at 9, then self taught piano. Switched to bass when first heard Paul McCartney's bass lines in Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Then practised following progressive music as well as european folk. Fell in love with Jazz hearing John Coltrane, Cecil Taylor and Albert Ayler. Then moved to classical music and spent too many nights with post-webernian pointillists. Did get back to rock in recent years.
First Band: Agomas in 1975
then Earthbound from 1977 to 1980
Then entered in rock in opposition/cabaret band "La Pattona" from 1980 to 1982
Then founder member of A.T.R.O.X. and recorded 2 LPs "The Night Remains" and "Water Tales". Left for solo computer experimental music and soundscapes in 1985.
Played jazz for a short time in a quartet.
Released 2 solo works "Esperimentamenti sonori 1 ; 2". 1989-1991. Worked on scores for theatre plays. Recently rejoined old mate guitar wizard Beppe Lombardo and founded the progressive rock trio Big Muff composing, playing Bass and synthesiser.
The Band is now called Big Muff Project being open to external contributors as well as working in several different parallel projects, from theatre play score to music for ballets.
Apart from the musical activities, worked as copywiter and at visual communication staregy agencies in Milan. Meanwhile from 1983 with Apple computer resellers in the sales and marketing areas. Still doing this. Also from the late seventies as a musical critic/journalist and contemporary art critic.
