DESCRIPTION:
This is a great arrangement by Ulli Bögershausen of the 80's song by Tears for Fears covered by Gary Jules in a minimalist style. Ulli captured this minimalist version brilliantly, check it out. I used the transcription by Ana Giollo (thanks Ana!) you can find it the usual way.

I've played it at the original Tears for Fears version tempo, no particular reason, perhaps I remember the original better, perhaps I'm impatient, perhaps I've just fallen into the standard guitarist trap of playing everything too fast.

I got in close to the camera, but the sound didn't come out as nice as I had hoped. There is buzz on the A string and when I fret the G on the bass it sounds out of tune.

But look, I threw this out here to let you know of its existence if you didn't already know, because I highly recommend it as a piece to learn. It is dropped D tuning (don't be afraid) with a capo on 7th (buy one if you don't have one, they are relatively inexpensive). Although each "section" of the song will take a little bit of practise, there are only about 3 sections you need to master so you can knock this piece out pretty quick.
