DESCRIPTION:
This is a reading of Robert Watt's 1962 fluxus-related score 'Event 10'.

The score asks that a performer strike a bell which is followed immediately by the lighting of a match until it burns out, another performer then strikes a bell followed immediately by the 4th performer and this continues ten times.

Mathieu adapted the score so that he could be perform it alone and, for this recording, has included a tone (produced by ebowing a ukelin) that begins as soon as the match is lit and finishes when it burns out.
