I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to sit down with musical innovator Mathias Eick during his recent visit to the US at the Rochester Jazz Festival. I was there the same night playing with Mike Stern, and ran over to catch the end of his set, filmed a little b-roll of the performance, and managed to sit down with Mathias for a short interview through the haze of jetlag and flight complications!
