Welterweight Final
Mark was current NZ Welterweight belt holder with a few diff sanctioning bodies so when I heard I was fighting him in the final, I went in thinking I'd be happy to go the distance. I think we both underperformed in this fight, perhaps due to nerves? I had seen him fight better and I think I had as well.
Regardless, it was a test and I look back on it positively, even though there was some debate over the decision. I'm probably too fat for a rematch, sorry mark :)
