I have a new CD called Sheffield Streets out now on Urban Myth recordings. I recorded it in Los Angeles with my friend the great drummer Don Heffington producing and drumming in his home studio.
I did 2 thrilling duets, one with Elvis Costello on my father's song Monsters of the Id with my father (Mose Allison) on piano and Elvis on vocals, and one with Dave Alvin playing and singing on an old song of mine, Everybody Ought to Know.
I was lucky to have these other amazing musicians on it as well: Greg Leisz, Bob Glaub, Josh Grange, David Ralike, Van Dyke Parks, Lee Thornburg, Dominic Genova, DJ Bonebrake, Brian Standefer, Kip Boardman, Jeff Turmes, Charles DeCastro, Sebastian Steinberg and my old pal, Ryan Hedgecock.
