DESCRIPTION:
BERN, a 12-piece (4 vocals, 4 horns, 5 rhythm) supercharged funk band, was born on 8/8/8 at Cafe Cordiale in Sherman Oaks. Created out of a desire to emerge from the studio and get out and play (musician-friendly but recognizable and fun) groove music live in public with strong lead and harmony vocals, tight and challenging horn parts (with a bari sax of course), and a ferociously groovin' rhythm section.
