I am a professional musician living in London (though originally from the north east of england) - a member of the superb indie pop band TRANSCARGO www.transcargomusic.com, I also freelance as a saxophonist and keyboard player. I have played for.

I also play a lot of jazz and funk (i studied jazz at the guildhall school of music) and perform with my own band 'THE MARK BROWN BAND' (for want of a better name) across the country, most recently headling at The Kathmandu Jazz Festival in Nepal, and play with the soul, jazz and boogaloo 60's funk outfit THE FILTHY SIX. I also do a lot of songwriting and have collaborated with David Etherington, Emily Philllips, Tawiah, Dizzee Rascal. Johnathon Shorten, Natalie Williams, Drew Horley, Anthony Whiting and others as a song writer. The songs above are all co-written by me. Hope you enjoy!
