The Austrian trumpet player Markus Hörhan studied jazz at the conservatory in Vienna. He was taught by Jörg Engels (soloist in Bob Brookmeyers "New Art Orchestra" and member of "Karlheinz-Stockhausen-Ensemble") and visited workshops from several great international musicians (e.g. Bo Nillson, Hans Gansch, Thomas Gansch, Rüdiger Baldauf - trumpet player in Udo Jürgens and Stefan Raabs band). Across the years he played a lot of live concerts: Sziget Festival Hungary, Kuga-Festival Austria as supporting act for the Donots, WUK Vienna, Jazzland Vienna, the red bar of Volkstheater Vienna together with Tini Kainrath, Carole Alston and many more…
