DESCRIPTION:
Pilot Speed (formerly known as Pilate) was a Canadian rock band that formed in 1999 in Toronto, Ontario. The quartet's debut EP, For All That's Given, Wasted, was released in 2001 which gathered attention from MapleMusic Recordings who later signed them. Their three full-length albums Caught by the Window, Sell Control for Life's Speed and Wooden Bones have since been released on MapleMusic Recordings in 2003, 2006 and 2009 respectively.
On June 26, 2006, the band posted a message on their site stating that, due to legal restrictions, they decided to change their band name before it incited lawsuits from companies outside Canada. As a result, they altered their name to Pilot Speed. Their second album was then re-released in the United States by Wind-up Records with a new name, Into the West.

"Into The West" was the relaunch of the second album "Sell Control For Life's Speed" and was published in September 2006 under the label Wind-Up Records (USA) as a result of the name change to "Pilot Speed" by legal reasons. This production helped them enter the US market and many countries such as Japan.
Addition and made changes to the list of subjects excluded "Lover Come in" incorporating turn their classic "Alright" and "Into Your Hideout"

"Into The West" fue el relanzamiento del segundo album ""Sell Control For Life's Speed" y se publicó en Septiembre del 2006 bajo el sello de Wind-Up Records (EE.UU). Se tomaron estas medidas ya que la banda decidió cambiar de nombre de "Pilate" a llamarse "Pilot Speed" por motivos legales. Esta produccion los ayudó a ingresar al mercado estadounidense y a muchos paises tales como Japón. Además e hicieron cambios en la lista de temas dejando de lado al tema "Lover Come in" e incorporando sus clasicos "Alright" e "Into Your Hideout"
Los tracks 1, 2, 5 fueron grabados en los estudios "The Armoury".
Los tracks 7, 10 a su vez fueron grabados en los estudios "The Factory" mientras que el track 12 fue grabado y masterizado en el estudio "Joao Carvalho Mastering"
Por otra parte los tracks 3 y 4 fueron grabados en "Phase One Studios" y los tracks 8 and 9 fueron grabados en "Umbrella Studios" (Toronto, Ontario - Canada)
Todas las canciones fueron compuestas por Pilot Speed y las letras por Todd Clark
