I've been playing a LOT of Risk of Rain, and its OST is truly something special, but I never really intended to do a remix for anything (at least, not Precipitation, most likely Coalescence), but here it is.
What's funny is that this started out as a pony track, since I was messing with drums for a Gilda song, and I thought "Wait a minute, this kinda reminds me..." and so I open up a few more instruments, and soon enough, I find myself working on this.
It was a massive pain because it's very different from what I normally do (and isn't that the recurring phrase?) and the mixing is still off, but it's as good as I can get it.
I had to work with a lot of dry samples to get the feeling right since I wanted this to be more like a 4th stage to the boss fight, and I always like fitting scenarios.

Anyways, I really hope you like it since it was really an experience for me, for better or for worse.

This is the remix that I WAS going to do, but I scrapped the idea after a while because something about it didn't click the way I wanted it to.

I might go back to calm orchestral for the next song, but I'm not sure.
It's important to experiment a lot, especially with stuff you're unfamiliar with, so you can just keep adding random knowledge so that, later on, you can actually pull from that and keep the workflow going.
Or, if you're like me, you're always messing with different stuff, so it's just business as usual.
