*****LYRICS*****

So, I was on YouTube, right... A couple days ago
Seen that Big Sean dropped a new song called Control
So I pressed play and listened to him and Jay snappin
But when K. Dot opened mouth, somethin just happened
He started rappin, put the whole rap game on notice
That he wasn't gonna stop until he was one of the dopest
Even spoken a couple name of people within the industry
Who has the tendency of embeddin rhymes in our memories
After listening, I said it was cool, no track to brag about
Till I woke up the next morning, saw the hip hop world jabbin out
Sayin Kendrick lost his mind, he ain't the King of NY
He not of King L.A., he no 2pac or B.I.
G, he just a Black Hippy who sing songs about liqour
In swimming pools using Janet Jackson samples, who this nigga?
And how he figure that he can make statements that's not true?
Watch what I'ma do, I'ma hop in this booth and get at dude
Now a few responses surfaced for Cass, Ortiz. Factz
Cats that feel that since he was sendin shots, send them back
But fact is that in his whole verse he wasn't dissin
And as an artist from the outside lookin in, you people trippin
Cuz what I heard him clearly say is rap is competition
If you didn't get recognized by him, well, step up your lyrics
Cuz clearly it mean to me that you don't pop up as a threat
Even J. Cole said if you didn't get mention its disrespect
And I agree, but you only have yourself to blame
So focused on whips and chains, stead of solidifying your name
On the list of all time greats, but instead of making those claims
You buddy buddy with the opposition, really its a shame
That it took someone like him to hold up a mirror
To show you the image of a garbage MC so clearer
So all the responses you people doin please just trash them
And instead put the energy in makin better albums
And proven him wrong, give us solid proof why you is strong
Give us compelling work instead of stupid sing a longs
Oh no, I'm not done yet, while I am on the subject
I got one more thing on my mind I wanna address
Jordan had friends, on the court wished them a good game
But trashed anybody stupid to step in his lane
When Tip sayed he the King Of The South, you knew he lied
That title belong to UGK, yet you gave no reply
When Wayne said he the greatest one alive you said nothin
Butt when Kendrick say the same thing, you wanna start a discussion
Hop on these social networks, tell him they'll be reproocussions
Gettin butt hurt over one verse, soundin like females fussin
I wasn't gonna open my mouth, and watch how this all play out
But its been 48 hours and its already played out
Just get back to lyricism instead of tryna be flashy
And if you mad at what I'm sayin, by all means come get at me
Cuz I got a an arsonal waitin for all you lame guys
Rap a competition, strap up people... its gametime
