Luke told the young man that thanks to YouTube and other online portals, it's easier than ever to promote your music or your entire brand. However, infiltrating radio is still a problem, as they tend to play the same songs over and over, and that it began when Bill Clinton deregulated radio.
While he feels this shift in radio has helped in the death of the music industry, he still encourages up and comers to use every available resource online and begin building a buzz in their own city first that will eventually spread to the masses.
