DESCRIPTION:
http://www.vladtv.com - Uncle Luke of 2 Live Crew recently spoke on his history in Hip-Hop, discussing the days where he and his group members were fighting for their music to be heard, as they were accused of violating obscenity laws at the time when the American Family Association pushed for legal action to be taken against them.
Luke recalls being arrested after several shows, refusing to censor himself, citing comedian Andrew Dice Clay and Playboy founder Hugh Hefner as examples of men who spoke about and promoted sexuality in their art without punishment.
In the end, Luke had a great deal of influence in bringing Hip-Hop to the south at a time when NYC and LA were running the culture.
