BALLAD OF MUSKOKA MAN
Muskokaman he rides a Grizzly Bear just for fun Known by all far & wide as Muskoka's wild son Once he fought a Big Buck deer, to death with his bare hands, A lover of the ladies but as wild as his lands
He could be crude, & very lewd, he was often very stewed But make no mistake he's still crafty, sharp & shrewd! A master of the elements plays with axes, knives & guns He Killed 10,000 tall boys by the age of twenty one
Everybody knows that old Musky really likes his herb & every spring he hitches his moose & ploughs up some earth They seed the beaver meadows all around the old lakehead At harvest time In the fall Old Muskys eyes glow red
One morning Musky he woke with a hunger for some fish He Went down to lake & slammed it with his fist A wave broke through the forest & emptied out the lake left a banquet on the bottom with no rod, no reel or bait
(Chorus) Let's drink to old Musky, yes lift your glasses high As long as there is Libations don't let his memory die That crazy wild Canadian from those frozen northern lands He just rode into the sunset on a Grizzly with a ham
