L.Slinga's love for Reggae started in the 80's while listening to sound systems such as Saxon, Sir Coxsone & Jah Shaka to name a few. He started selecting music himself in his teens at house parties & local community centres.
Over time he became active in community radio while gaining a good reputation & following playing at various clubs and venues.
In 2006 he launched the Culture Drop Works (DJ Promo Use Only) Mixtape where he showcases the finest up & coming artists & studios.
These works have lead him into producing promotional mixes for recording studios worldwide such as Chop Chop Productions & Obadan Produktionz Jamaica, Not Easy At All Productions & Jah Soild Rock Music Amsterdam, Ghetto Records, Cultural Productions & Reggae Time Records France & Goldcup Records Italy.
