Some I want by my side forever. Some I just want to love like ships in the night.

I am also a lover of old TV variety shows. The Bobbie Gentry Happiness Hour. Dolly! The Johnny Cash Show. The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour. the sensational French one Dim Dam Dom. Porter Wagoner. Nancy Sinatra. Special guests! Snazzy costumes! Rickety sets!

A girl can't do everything she wants to do in life. But she can surely try.
With this ethos, ten cents in my hand and my heart on my sleeve, I bring to you my very own humble homegrown lounge room extravaganza Loene Carmen's Parallel Universe.

I will rope in some super special guests, both behind and in front of the camera, safety pin together some outfits and visit Reverse Garbage alot on the hunt for glittery set decorations discarded by Hi-5.
I will put together a small show of songs on a theme, some of my own and more of others, on a monthly basis, give or take a month or two and the generosity of others.

I may be starting small but I'm thinking big, so the theme for the first episode is THE WORLD.
