Livet Nord

A violinist in many different shapes.



The sound of Livet is full, warm, straight, secret, honest and naked. Her early classical education has become the fundament from which she has developed her own way of playing and her own expression. Daring, dirty, simple and beautiful. Her tone reveals a big love to genres like tango, klezmer and Swedish folk music, but she's also familiar with genres like blues, country, jazz and pop.



Livet work as a freelance musician in different bands and projects with other musicians, actors, dancers and storytellers. She has toured all around the world with the New Tango Orquesta since 1996. She is often consulted as a musician in studios for film, TV and CD:s, and works as promoter of NTO and Kaja.



Livet is also the owner of the label Famous on the Moon Records (www.fomrecords.se), which released Kaja’s debut album Krackel in 2007 (www.kajatrio.se).
