DESCRIPTION:
This was for a video installation I did for my Final Major Project at college, and although the installation itself was quite unsuccessful I think the video and music composition by themselves are better. The video was supposed to give an impression of ego loss as described in the Tibetan Book of the Dead and I was hoping to instill a sense of insignificance in the viewer, in the hopes that they can lose there attachment to the material world by meditating upon everything other than themselves. Let me know what you think of the meditation drone in the background, that is my favorite part. I created it by running the sound from my video footage through a synthesizer on a vocoder setting and with a combination of a delay stutter drone and vague improvising in the dorian mode. The whole thing was done in one take so don't be too judgmental haha. If you've made it this far, and tolerated all my bullshit, thank you and enjoy :)
