DESCRIPTION:
Lina Nyberg Band (Cecilia Persson piano, David Stackenäs guitar, Josef Kallerdahl bass, Peter Danemo drums) performs the jazz standard "Fly me to the moon" by Bart Howard, a teaser from the upcoming album AERIALS (Hoob records). In addition we hear Vindla String Quartet in an arrangement by Lina Nyberg.
The Swedish jazz singer and composer Lina Nyberg releases her CD "AERIALS" in March 2016 - the 2nd double CD out of three. She started with "SIRENADES" in 2014 that attracted a lot of attention in Sweden and internationally.
"AERIALS" contains new work by Lina written for stringquartet but also a bunch of carefully selected jazz standards arranged for her tight and sensitive band.
