DESCRIPTION:
Gibson calls the HD.6X-Pro Digital Les Paul the "first guitar of the 21st century." This guitar uses a proprietary system to transmit data from a real Les Paul (with six mini-humbuckers, one per string) to a breakout box called "Bob" via cat-five cable, and from the box to your DAW. The whole Gibson HD.6X-Pro setup is fascinating, even for a guitar purist who would never dream of plugging a 'puter cable into an axe.
