DESCRIPTION:
Leah Suárez & Duda Lucena graced the night with Brazilian jazz during the Jazz Artists of Charleston 6th Annual Jazz series. The duo treated the Lowcountry to several bossa novas, sambas, and other jazz standards with a Brazilian twist. Soft and mellow vocals filled the intimate venue at Father Figaro Hall and gentle plucks of the guitar strings by Lucena and bass by Ben Wells set the tone of the night for the May 26th performance .
