The Bhakti Beat @ Bhakti Fest 2011: The news of the passing of musician/composer/producer and chanter Geoffrey Gordon just days before Bhakti Fest West 2012 took many by suprise and spurred numerous dedications -- and many tears -- from Gordon's friends and collaborators. Gordon, one of Western kirtan's early bhakti brothers, made music with Jai Uttal, Krishna Das, Ram Dass and countless others. This song, a cover of Jai Uttal's cover of Tomorrow Never Knows from Uttal's 2001 Grammy-nominated album Mondo Rama, pairs John Lennon's haunting lyrics with Om Namah Shivayah.
