DESCRIPTION:
"O-o-h Child" written by Stan Vincent was originally recorded by the Five Stairsteps in 1970. Laura Nyro's cover of the song was recorded live at Fillmore East in New York and appeared on her Columbia album Spread Your Wings and Fly: Live at the Fillmore East May 30, 1971 and as a bonus track on the 2002 Sony CD reissue of her 1971 album Gonna Take a Miracle, which was Laura's only all-covers album. This lady was incredibly talented. I wish that she were still with us.
