DESCRIPTION:
When we took our band photos on location, it started raining hard and we decided the scenery, and the sound was perfect to record a song. I actually started writing this song in Colombia a couple years ago, so it's fitting.
LYRICS:
A lonely life that burns like cigarettes
If only I could breathe mine back
Oh, oh, oh, and the city sleeps so peacefully
I'd throw out the pack to keep just one
We can't go back
Wash the grime from my lungs
I don't care what they say
I'll love you anyway
We can't go back
Wash the grime from my lungs
I don't care what they say
I'll love you anyway
I'll love you anyway
The summer night that you came close me
[A heavy chill rolled down my spine]
Hold on, I can't let you go so easily
I'll throw out the pack to keep just one
We can't go back
Wash the grime from my lungs
I don't care what they say
I'll love you anyway
We can't go back
Wash the grime from my lungs
I don't care what they say
I'll love you anyway
I'll love you anyway
We can't go back
Wash the grime from my lungs
I don't care what they say
I'll love you anyway
We can't go back
Wash the grime from my lungs
I don't care what they say
I'll love you anyway
I'll love you anyway
