DESCRIPTION:
I think it was '92 when old pal Frankie Ervin met me at the legendary Dunbar Hotel in South Central
to sit for an interview and sing, for camera and me, his biggest hit "You Cheated You Lied".
In the mid-50's Frankie was lead singer for The Shields, one of doo wop and primordial rock's first national hit acts.

I was pleasantly surprised that he showed up sporting the gold lame' suit - a throwback to his glory days
and a true golden oldie. Frankie still sings his assoff. Hope you enjoy it.
