DESCRIPTION:
Valentine's Day Serenades: Texas singer/songwriter (that's me!) Kristy Krüger covers "I Love You So Much it Hurts Me" written by Texas singer/songwriter Floyd Tillman. Floyd was influential in creating the genres of Western swing and Honky Tonk. Floyd is from Post, Texas, a cotton-mill town and was the son of a sharecropper. This song charted at number 5 in 1948. I believe it is the most beautiful love song I've ever heard. It was also recorded by Ray Charles, Patsy Cline, Ernest Tubb, and many others.

I performed it on Public Radio International's "This American Life" with Ira Glass.

This serenade goes out to Russell and Lisa. Happy Valentine's Day y'all!

Email me at kristykruger@hotmail.com if you would like a personal dedication for your lover. Rates vary depending on the time it takes me to learn the song. If you live in the DFW area, I will show up in person and throw roses and sweep your lover off their feet. I'm a romantic and it shows. I'll sing the songs you wish you could sing to your lover.

I am not shy, as you can tell!
