Komposti family is proud to present another star on the rise -- singer Romain Virgo live and direct from Jamaica! One of the most talented new Jamaican artistes around, Romain has been making waves since 2007. After winning the Rising Stars talent competition in Jamaica the age of 17 with his exceptional singing skills, Romain has been delivering hits after hits in timeless fashion. Working with his home label Vikings and the legendary Penthouse producer Donovan Germain, his hit tunes "Can't Sleep", "Wanna Go Home", "Love Doctor", "Who Feels It Knows It" and many more have been playing hard at dances and airwaves around the world. Romain's debut album "Introducing Romain Virgo", released in June this year, is considered by many to be the best and most complete reggae album this year.

Romain's sound could be described as soulful and timeless. Musically he is not limited to one style or niche; while he is enjoying doing musical tributes for the likes of Alton Ellis in classic style, he is able to reach audiences far and wide both tuning to modern dancehall and classic reggae with his social commentary and lovers themes. This will be his first visit ever to Finland, so make sure you make it a date and don't be late!

As the following independence day gives us the luxury of a free Monday, we are making sure the party will be full on after the live show is finished. Upstairs reggae & dancehall room will feature Finland's top party sounds Komposti and Black Bear alongside a special guest, selector Damalistik from Roots Survival Sound. Hailing from France and based in Czech Republic, he has been playing sound for more than 10 years and known to always deliver a heartical vibes with a militant stance, whether juggling the latest dancehall tunes or early warm roots.

You might also enjoy the vibes in the bassment where J-Laini and Aksim will be spinning the best in hip hop and r&b. For many, J-Laini is known best as the host of clubs like Hump Day, Yo! Kuudes Linja Raps and Can't Beat Wednesdays, but he is first and foremost a wicked DJ. Aksim, who is known also for his trademark productions for the hip hop crew Kemmuru, does not fall behind -- teaming up with Jussi, they will provide a night of steady flowing party vibes.
