In preparation for the release of Kirk's full length album later this summer, Far Out Recordings dishes up a second instalment of tasters and remixes from a cadre of new label recruits and recent collaborators furthering the kaleidoscopic 'Sambatek' template of deep and dark techno meets Brazil's renowned rhythm. Following on from the success of Volume One in the Sambatek remixes series, Volume Two offers an even more diverse take on Kirk's effusive productions seeing BNJMN (UK), Spatial (UK) and Argentina's Jonas Kopp step up to the plates.

'Rocinha' (Original)

This first offering from techno legend Kirk Degiorgio's forthcoming album release is reminiscent of the classic Pepe Bradock sound of the late 90's. 'Rocinha' is an 8-minute journey of lush pads and shiny synth explosions driven by a solid techno beat with underlying samba rhythm setting the perfect summer scene for festival revellers.
