Kid D has been regularly releasing instrumental EP's and is known to work with veterans such as Wiley, Dogzilla and Ghetts, so that's the sort of producer we are dealing with here.
Featuring 7 instrumental tracks and a bonus vocal by Ghetts, this is another definite purchase. We start off immediately straight into bouncy, hard and fast grime by way of "Head Garn". "Nex Ting" is another grimy number. Moving deeper into the release we get to the track "Something In My Sound" which is the instantly recognisable instrumental from Dogzilla's emotional vocal "I Spoke To God" (taken from a previous joint release with Kid D) and the instrumental more than stands alone on its own.
There are three other tunes that are also more the emotional side of grime, which the Ghetts vocal "Live For Today" is like.
Overall, it's another 7 instrumentals, in a variety of styles, which shows how well Kid D is at making different sounding beats at a highly unique level for all different occasions.
