AMBIENT RIVER

Opening Statement - We have every respect for 'Kid Loco' and his music. If you (Kid Loco) or management do not resonate with the idea of 'Ambient River' and would like it removed we are only to happy to oblige.

Kid Loco is a French electronic downtempo music producer. Originally inspired by live music he played in numerous punk outfits as a guitarist. With experimentation in Reggae and Hip by 1996 he was ready to produce his own sounds, which can be described as dubbed out lounge, hip hop and or funk rolled into one.

RIVER LUGG SOURCE

Pool Hill (547 Meters - 1800 Ft), as it is known, is part of a 5,000 Acre reserve managed by the Radnorshire Wildlife Trust. Nature of note on this remote moorland comes in the form of Heather, interspersed with areas of Bracken and acid grassland. With nesting Wheatear, Meadow Pipit, Whinchat, Stonechat, Merlin, Red Grouse, Linnet, Buzzard, Peregrine and Raven, Hen Harrier and Red Kite the area surrounding the source is a veritable mix of sounds and textures.

Essentially through the adventure and the series of video stills (Ambient River) we celebrate the environment and the fundamental role it plays in inspiring our music and dance. An event may well emerge out of this but for now it is simply about sharing our deeds this summer.
