a little bit about FreefallFelix:

Formed at the start of 2006, FreefallFelix spent their first two months together in the studio working on their debut self-released "The White Label EP". Since their first show in March 2006 the hard work hasn't stopped for the band!! By September that year their bags were packed and they headed off around the UK for a month on their first headline tour - the aptly titled 'Take The Plunge tour'

December of their first year as a band then saw FreefallFelix support on dates of the very first 'Ska Is Dead' tour in the UK featuring Mustard Plug, Planet Smashers + Bomb The Music Industry. Further writing came after that tour and then FreefallFelix went into the studio in January 2007 with Lester Woodward (Flood Of red, Furthest Drive Home etc.) at Ignition Studios in Finsbury Park to record the highly anticipated 'Meltdown' record.

'Meltdown' was released on May 4th with a sold out show in their hometown of Leicester and followed by another highly successfull month long tour taking in most of the UK, which included prolific shows with bands such as Rx Bandits, Big D & The Kid's Table and Mad Caddies. The band have also received Airplay from Iron Maiden's vocalist Bruce Dickinson on his BBC6 radio show. After a short break FreefallFelix were back in action for a short while after the departure of Charlee Drew on vocals but have since decided to disband and will not be playing any more shows. check back for a full blog about the situation and new bands soon!
