"Késaj Tchavé" - „Die Kinder der Fee“: So nennt sich diese Truppe von 20 singenden und tanzenden Roma, Kinder und junge Erwachsene, zwischen 6 und 25 Jahren. Eigentlich sind es alles Menschen, denen niemand in der Slowakei auch nur den Hauch einer Zukunft zutraut. Doch Ivan Akimov, ihr Lehrer, holt sie raus aus den Barackensiedlungen, lehrt sie singen und tanzen und tourt mit ihnen bis nach Paris.
KESAJ TCHAVE – A PLEASURE FOR EYES
 
Kesaj Tchave, that`s not only the happiness to watch them, it`s simply a shock, because everything they do is beautiful. They have crazy rhythm, we ask ourselves how long can they  last it…but they last! Show which they offer us is long, but we aren`t bored even for a second. They are perfect cure for the greyness and sadness of this world. After we watch them, we feel like we fell in love and we never want to leave them. Everybody should watch them, everybody should feel better after watching them!

An art can`t eradicate poverty, but it can recover a dignity and feeling of security, an art can also help to rebuild social bonds.
Living in the miserable conditions force to point only on vital needs. There is no more space for cultural activities.
But when we are excluded from a culture, we are out of society. Cultural action gives a chance to exist as a full human being. It creates the identity which allows to diversify from a shame - the origin of isolation.
