DESCRIPTION:
Steelhouse Lane was a melodic rock group put together by songwriter/guitarist Mike Slamer (City Boy, Streets) alongside up and coming vocalist Keith Slack. The band had a sound inspired by Journey, Survivor and Night Ranger.1998's Metallic Blue was Steelhouse Lane's debut album,It's a great album that's a total throwback to the late 80's melodic hard rock sound. Songs include "Metallic Blue" and "Find Your Way Home", which were originally recorded by House of Lords, "Dr. Love" is from Hardline's debut, and "Addicted", which was originally performed by Wall of Silence. Closing ballad "Brighter Day" was later recorded by James Christian on his Rude Awakening album.
