DESCRIPTION:
Former front man from The Border Surrender, Keith Austin has spent the last year working on solo material in the studio and with his new band.

Many of the Americana influences that were apparent in The Border Surrender's work are still here but soul, pop and country creep in to the new mix which sets it apart from any previous material.

Keith has played a handful of solo shows and is now with full band giving a very different sound to the stripped down songs he has been performing recently.

Before The Gold Rush is a monthly night at The Wilmington Arms music venue in central London. It showcases the best in emerging and unsigned artists within, but not strictly confined to, the genres of folk, americana, and alt. country.

At BTGR we record performances on a digital 8 track recorder with a direct line out from the desk and two ambient microphones. After the show we then apply a full mix to the audio and sync it to the footage, providing all acts with a high quality live video of their entire set.
