DESCRIPTION:
The Danish band-leader Kai Julian and his Dance Orchestra playing "Kom med mig, jeg ved et sted", recorded in 1931.

At that time Julian had a very popular dance orchestra, often broadcasted in the Danish Radio, and they made quite many records for the Polyphon label. In the band were many talented young musicians who later became famous jazz names, and band-leaders themselves i.e. the alto saxophonist and vocalist Kai Ewans, who already had played all over Europe with his own band, and in Bernard Etté's orchestra in Germany in the years around 1930.

The band's drummer, Børge Bachmann, later became world famous - known as the comedian Boyd Bachmann.
