FOG IN A BOTTLE

Katarina : Hey Stella, I heard that you were doing some experiments last night?

Stella : Yes, I was.

Katarina : Which ones?

Stella : I made my own lava lamp, waterproof sand and fog in a bottle.

Katarina : I did those experiments last year in my chemistry class.

Stella : But the fog in a bottle didn't turn out well.

Katarina : Perhaps I know why.

Stella : Can you help me?

Katarina : Of course I can.

Katarina : You need one large glass bottle, ice and water.

Stella : Okay, I have everything.

Katarina : Pour boiling water in a glass bottle. It must be boiling.

Stella : Oh no, mine wasn't boiling.

Katarina : That's why the experiment didn't work.

Katarina : After you poured boiling water, put ice on top of the bottle. Make sure that the ice covers the top.

Stella : Okay..

Katarina : Now you can probably see how the vapor forms.

Stella : I can!

Stella : It looks like fog.

Katarina : Yes, it does.

Stella : Thanks Katarina for your help.

Katarina : No problem, anytime.
