Karen-Lee Batten is one of the very best BC has to offer, with several national chart singles and CMT music videos. Opening for artists like Emerson Drive, Big & Rich, Aaron Pritchett, Ian Tyson, Deric Ruttan, Gord Bamford, and Shane Yellowbird; she has been on many of the largest stages country music has to offer. In 2003 she beat out over 16,000 competitors to be in the top 11 Canadian Idol and for her efforts was rewarded with a BMG Gold Record for her recordings with Canadian Idol. She has since won the 2004, 2005 and 2006 BC country music (Female Vocalist of the year) award
